About me
Lee Ann is the Specialist for Science, Healthful Living, and Physical Education for Moore County Schools with more than 30 years of experience in education. Her career has included roles as a high school teacher, Instructional Technology Specialist, Planning, Accountability and Research Specialist, and Regional Professional Development Lead with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. She is passionate about supporting educators through high-quality professional learning, phenomenon-based science instruction, and the implementation of the North Carolina Science Standards. Lee Ann is committed to helping teachers create engaging, student-centered learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific literacy.
